Beyond Sausage Skewers

Makes 4 Skewers

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Beyond Sausage Hot Italian

  • 1 package Crimini Mushrooms

  • Pineapple

  • Red Onion

  • BBQ Sauce (plant based)

  • Wooden Skewers, soaked in water


Directions:

  1. Cut each sausage into four 1.5 inch pieces.

  2. Cut pineapple and red onion into 1 inch pieces.

  3. Build skewer starting with sausage, followed by red onion, pineapple, mushroom. Stack ingredients until skewers are full. Repeat for additional skewers.

  4. Grill on a lightly oiled, heated grill. Cook on medium-high for 2/3 minutes per side. Brush skewers with BBQ sauce about halfway through. Remove from grill.

  5. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro and a side of BBQ. Enjoy!
