Luis began studying nutrition in 2004 and, after reversing many of his own health conditions, wanted to help others who were also seeking better health. After working in various wellness centers throughout New York City, he earned a certificate in Nutritional Counseling and founded The Pinecone Apothecary to provide a wide range of holistic care to those in need of it. His longing to reconnect with the Earth brought him to the beautiful Catskill Mountains where he composes music, practices yoga, and offers holistic services from his home and from our store. | Stephanie Kristal, M.A., C.H. is a Certified Transpersonal and Medical Hypnotherapist and co-founder of the Kingston Center For Hypnosis and Counseling. She has over 25 years of professional experience.
In her medical and transpersonal hypnotherapy practice, Stephanie works with people living with trauma, abuse, PTSD, unhealthy relationship patterns, early childhood/family issues, medical conditions, life threatening illnesses, pain management, fears and phobias (including dental) and creative and emotional blocks.
Stephanie teaches self-hypnosis to women during pregnancy to address any fears, to alleviate nausea and to experience pregnancy joyfully. Stephanie’s program of self-hypnosis, visualization and breathing helps to create a calm and relaxed birth experience
As a death midwife, Stephanie serves as a guide in the end of life journey and a support to family and friends.
In addition to hypnosis, Stephanie has a practice in short term, solution focused counseling with individuals and couples.
In all of her work, Stephanie creates a safe gentle space for change, healing and growing.
Stephanie is the author of numerous articles and contributed to the book "Help Me To Heal" by Yosaif August and Bernie Siegel.
The Kingston Center for Hypnosis and Counseling is located at 275 Fair Street in Kingston. Stephanie also works with clients out of her home office in High Falls and will also travel to meet with those that live out of the area.
